Cops say 22-year-old Pedro Ruiz held a book to his chest and persuaded his girlfriend to fire a gun at him from a foot away. He thought the book would stop the bullet, but instead, it went straight through and killed him, cops say. This is the pistol model used in the stunt, a .50-caliber Desert Eagle. Just look at the damage two bullets did to this dictionary. They came right out the other side. Cops say Ruiz and his girlfriend staged the stunt to lure more viewers to their YouTube channel.
